ABOUTOne of Trinidad and Tobago's most dynamic Steel Orchestras, Supernovas are known for their eclectic repertoire of music that comprise of many genres of music which include Latin, calypso, reggae, pop, chutney, jazz and classical.
Inspired by their most revered son of the Soil, Dr. Jit Samaroo; The band was formed by members of the community of Surrey Village in 2010. Under the leadership of Amrit Samaroo and management of Anthony Samaroo, "the little band that can" has competed consistently at a high level in the Small Band Category of the National Panorama for four years, winning the title in 2014. |

Officially began it's partnership with the First Citizens Group Placed 2nd at the Panorama Final Held "Reaching Souls" a concert which featured 14 top steel bands playing inspirational music |
